Class Descriptions

Intro to Yoga
   This class will teach you the fundamentals of the asana (physical) practice in a comfortable atmosphere with others that are new to yoga.
Postures will be broken down to show proper alignment, breath & core control.
This class will help to prepare you for the styles of yoga that are offered at our studio.

1st week of the month - Intro to Yin/Yang
2nd week of the month - Intro to Ashtanga
3rd week of the month - Intro to Sattva
4th week of the month - Intro to Flow
Ashtanga
   This is a multi-level class which follows the traditional primary and second series sequencing of the Ashtanga series.
Modifications and adjustments will allow newer students to feel guided at their level, while assisting experienced practitioners further in the practice.
This class is paced at a moderate cadence and is deeply cleansing as well as strengthening to body and mind. Ashtanga Yoga is the root of many forms of yoga known today, it is an essential addition to your yoga experience.
Sattva yoga
   This class is designed to bring balance, inner strength and energize the practitioner. A diverse sequence of Hatha postures that flow together, allowing us to reveal the potential that exists within the balanced, open body. After the postures we will do specific breathing techniques to strengthen the lungs and center the mind, followed by a meditation. Combining these three elements of yoga practice, (body, breath & mind) will give you the ultimate yoga experience. This class will leave you blissful! For all levels of practitioner. Each Month we explore a new posture sequence.
Hot Flow
   Yoga Flow in the heat!
Bring your practice to life in this class which helps students embody their practice. We invite you to explore & experience greater depth, ease & flow of movement through the whole body in a sequence of yoga asanas. Wake up your core!

Hot Yin/Restorative
   The heated room simultaneously detoxifies and relaxes your body, allowing for a deep, safe and gentle practice that leaves you physically and mentally balanced.

Rejuvenate the body with this blended sequence of Yin and Restorative yoga.
Beginning with deep stretches designed to target the deep connective tissues, increase flexibility and open the meridians of the body. Followed by a relaxing restorative sequence that will softly unfold the body with the support of props to ensure complete relaxation into the postures.
Come away feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and restored.

The temperature will be around 35C . Please bring your own towel and water with you. We also have them for rent/sale.

Hot Yoga Groove
   Let the heat melt your week's stress away and kick off your weekend with this fluid flow and playfull beats. Designed to invigorate the body, alleviate tension, and enliven the senses!
Yoga Flow - Lunch
   This 50 minute lunchtime flow yoga class has postures from many yogic traditions that are blended together linking your breath to the postures. Our teachers bring in their own individual styles to the classes making them unique.

Yin/Yang
   This class begins with a slow gentle yin practice to open the body and prepare the mind. The last half of the class will be a more active yang practice to energize and strengthen the body.

Gentle Yoga
   Yoga works its magic by bringing body, mind, and spirit into a state of harmony and balance. Focusing on the sensations that arise as you breathe through your asana practice, bridging the separation between body and mind, which allows you to become fully present within your body.
This gentle yet in depth practice is a sequence of asanas which increase flexibility and strengthen the entire body, releasing the chronic tension that so often dulls vitality.
As you conclude your practice enjoy a deep relaxation as energy naturally flows to the areas of your body most in need of rejuvenation and healing.
You leave feeling balanced and relaxed as you awaken your true self through yoga.

Pre-Natal
   Pre-natal Yoga provides an opportunity to develop greater vitality and awareness of your body and deepen your relationship with your baby. Gentle postures, breath work, visualization, vocal toning and meditation are all used to cultivate flexibility, calm and confidence in preparation for labour and childbirth. Women are empowered to enhance their ability to access greater relaxation, comfort, and enjoyment during this highly sensitive time. Come and embrace your pregnancy amongst other women in a beautiful, supportive environment. No previous yoga experience is required.
